Strategy Manager

Sandvik is now looking for a Strategy Manager joining a highly valued team supporting management level initiatives. You will manage, coordinate and implement cross-functional business development projects in a global matrix organization.

In this position, you are the strategic planner who acts in close collaboration with senior management and takes the lead in the strategy development and business planning. 

As Strategy Manager you will manage various projects, where the scope ranges from driving business development activities, transformation and improvement projects and for supporting the strategic planning cycles. Some projects are in connection with M&A, divestments, portfolio management and many other important strategic initiatives. You´ll work with the business leadership teams to facilitate implementation of these strategies. s. 

Business model innovation and transformation are key aspects of this role, and through coordination with various stakeholders you ensure development of the roadmap. By tracking and evaluating data and information you´ll provide recommendations on ways forward.

About you

We are looking for someone with a University degree in a relevant field, e.g. Engineering, Finance or Business Management. To succeed in this position, you need a proven track record of managing projects and driving change initiatives in a global and cross-functional environment.

Your experience from developing, coordinating, implementing and managing cross-functional business development projects in global matrix organizations is highly valued. You have proven abilities in matters of handling projects and advising senior management.

You have both the confidence and the ability to challenge, influence and guide decision making at management level.

As our customer acts on the international scene, it is important that you communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
