Transport Analyst within Global Transport & Solutions

Within Arjo there is a great focus on bringing value to the organization and to its customers by having efficient Supply Chain flow and Transport solutions. Arjo is now expanding the team with a Transport Analyst.

The Transport Analyst will work with transport optimization and review operational performance, cost and service levels. The role will also be responsible for establishing and implementing new routines and processes, to enable better structure for the future handling.

Key responsibilities

The role Transport Analyst will analyze transportation setup and needs across the company and drive processes, improvement projects and follow-up.

Further the role will:

  • Maintain and update regularly global transportation reports in relation to operations and finances
  • Conduct variance analysis for service, expenses and quality.
  • Secure SOP (Standard operating procedures) and appropriate documents to be able to ship
  • Support with ways of working, process alignment and drive improvement projects
  • Support and create a proper RFQs process

The role reports direct to the Director Global Transport and is located at head office in Malmö, Sweden. It is an international acting role and some travel is expected. 

Ideal candidate

To succeed in the role, we believe you have a University degree within Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering, economics or other relevant education. You have experience and genuine interest in the supply chain and Transportation field, working with improving business processes and routines.

It is meritorious to have an additional education or experience within process management.

Further you have:

  • very good knowledge in the field of transport processes and transport optimization
  • working experiences from an international complex environment, preferable from a manufacturing company.
  • experience in Project management
  • superior skills in Microsoft Office, SAP and other software/programing is desired
  • strong analytical mindset
  • sense of urgency and able to prioritize
  • strong communicative skills and fluent/skilled in English, both written and spoken.
