Director of Business Control

Are you looking for a new challenge within Financial Management? Our present Director Business Control Industrial Solutions (IDS) is promoted internally which opens up an opportunity for someone else to take on an exciting controller role in the business area IDS. The role is located in Landskrona, Sweden, however the role will require frequent travel to the different Industrial Solutions locations across the globe.

What you will be doing

As Director Business Control IDS, you will lead and develop the IDS financial team and be responsible for the IDS processes, procedures and compliance. You will work closely with the local regional finance teams in the local countries in order to secure the reporting process across IDS and deliver financial reports and plans according Group guidelines. You will analyze and monitor KPIs and financial performance against set plans and forecasts, report deviations, propose and initiate actions when needed. You will proactively support and challenge the business to reach and exceed the financial objectives that have been set. From time to time you will be involved in acquisition processes, due diligence and integration.

You will report to the BA President IDS and take part in the IDS Management Team. As a member of the IDS Management Team, you will actively contribute to the development of the strategy of the IDS business area as a whole.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an engaged and dynamic team player who has vast experience from business controlling and enjoys working in a complex and challenging environment. You should have a solid understanding of different accounting procedures from several countries and feel comfortable working within a structure of Group guidelines. You have a genuine interest and drive to be close to the business and have the ability to keep the overall goal in mind whilst working on the details. Experience from manufacturing or producing engineering companies which operates on a global scale is preferable. 

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to form relationships with people from different cultures and backgrounds. You are analytic by heart, commercial at head and operational at hand.

We would expect that you have a B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent degree.

You will be based in Landskrona, Sweden, at the Head Office of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, just about five minutes’ walk from the train station. About 300 people from different functions and organizations within ASSA ABLOY are based here, making the office vibrant and friendly.
