Oxe Marine AB listed in Nasdaq(publ) has, after several years of development, constructed the OXE Diesel, the world´s first diesel out-board engine in the high-power segment. OXE Diesel has a unique belt driven propulsion system that allows a hydraulic multi-friction gearbox to be mounted. This means that the engine can handle significantly higher loads than a traditional outboard engine. OXE Marine´s OXE diesel has a horizontally mounted engine as opposed to a traditional outboard with a vertically mounted engine. During summer 2016 Oxe Marine launched OXE Diesel, setting new standards for durability, fuel-efficiency and low emissions.

Marketing Director

Oxe Marine is looking for a dynamic Marketing Director, strong in both strategy and operations, to develop the brand “OXE – diesel” a leading product and brand which provide the marine industry with a powerful and fuel-efficient diesel outboard engine. The engine contributes significantly to reducing environmental impact. You will report to the CEO of Oxe Marine and you will work globally from the head-office in Ängelholm.

Oxe has developed “OXE-diesel”, a family of diesel engines designed to replace the gasoline outboard engines currently used. The engines may, for example, be used for cruises in the polar area, boat taxis, coast guard and rescue service. The use of diesel in the marine industry enables better performance, longer distances on the same amount of fuel and increased safety.

Key reponsibilities:

·      Development and implementation of the marketing and brand strategy.

·      Overall responsibility for communication at Oxe Marine, including investor relations communication

·      To ensure the continued success of the brand Oxe-Diesel

·      Ownership of the strategic brand agenda to achieve growth and develop new application areas

·      Media content and channel planning with emphasis on digital communication, brand building and external communication.

·      Responsible for the development of company website and toolbox production

·      Develop concept and marketing material, brochures, reference lists etc.

·      Plan and coordinate major events such as trade shows etc.

·      Develop, support and monitor marketing activities with Oxe’s Distributors

·      Analyze statistics on online traffic, media channels and marketing activities.

·      Follow up and report on KPI´s and objectives  

·      Participate in the planning, implementation and follow up of media campaigns

·      Responsible for local projects depending on needs

·      Manage Oxe Marine’s marketing personnel (currently based in Barcelona)

Profile:

·      You have at least 5 years of experience as Marketing Manager, preferably in an international context

·      You have the passion for building world-class brands and you have a bold and curious mindset.

·      You have great project management skills

·      You have an entrepreneurial mindset and an independent way of working

·      You are very proactive, like to take on challenges and improve things

·      You have a marketing or business degree or other relevant education

·      You are fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and in written form, additional language is a bonus
