Senior Project Manager, PMO Global Supply Chain

Within Arjo there is a great focus on bringing value to the organization and to its customers by having an efficient Supply Chain. Arjo is now expanding the team within Global Supply Chain with a Senior Project Manager to be a part in defining the future Supply Chain and to create a faster, more flexible and efficient flow of goods and services.

The Senior Project Manager will be a team member of the PMO, Global Supply Chain. The role will drive supply chain optimization within Arjo and be empowered to lead cross functional global or regional high priority projects. The Project manager will work closely with the business to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and cost effectiveness, set the appropriate metrics and drive results.

The role reports to the Manager, PMO Global Supply Chain. The position is located at head office in Malmö, Sweden. It is a global acting role and some travel is expected, initially to primary the US. 

Key responsibilities

The role as Project Manager at PMO, Global Supply Chain comes with lots of challenges, responsibilities but also engagement. Your main responsibilities are to:

  • You will work with continuous process optimization within Supply Chain and at different entities.
  • Act as main responsible Senior Project Manager for prioritized projects within Supply Chain.
  • Manage, follow-up and deliver results according to strategy and project goals.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate project members and stakeholders
  • Improve processes within supply chain, leveraging new concepts, drive sustainable improvements and make supply chains ready for the future.

The ideal candidate

To succeed in the role, we believe you have a University degree within Supply Chain Management or other relevant education. You have long experience and genuine interest in the supply chain field, working with improving the business.

Further you have:

  • solid experience from project management with many stakeholders.
  • working experiences from an international complex environment, preferable from a manufacturing company. 
  • “Can do”-mentality
  • sense of urgency and able to prioritize
  • result oriented with positive mind set
  • good business understanding.
  • leadership skills, both through own responsibilities and by leading others.
  • strong communicative skills and fluent/skilled in English, both written and spoken.
