Diaverum is now looking for a M&A Analyst – a truly exciting role at the global headquarters in Malmö Hyllie.
Do you like to work within the area of Merger and Aquistition, to facilitate the purchase or consolidation of companies from inception to the final merger?
M&A is an exciting and sometimes complex process, and the responsibilities of M&A analyst vary depending on the stage of a transaction. For this reason, one must be highly flexible in handling a wide range of duties as needs arise.
As a M&A Analyst you analyze prospects by research and gathering information about growth, competitors, and market share possibilities. You also review company fundamentals and financial statements.
About the job
This role is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to focus on supporting an experienced corporate M&A team in executing transactions across the company, in both existing and new markets.
Key Result Areas
· Perform comprehensive analyses of investment opportunities, incl. preparing and running financial models, sensitivity analyses and risk assessments.
· Supporting the M&A Team in driving acquisition processes.
· Preparation of investment proposals to the company’s Investment Committee or Board of Directors for approval.
· Support project management and execution of new market entries, from analysis and screening up to preparation of market entry.
· Keep internal data base for investment proposals and processes up-to-date.
· Support in regular and ad-hoc reporting.
Qualification
To be successful in this role we think that you have a master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar. Previous work experience in relevant fields is merited but we are open to a junior profile.
As a person we think you like to work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way. You have a strong desire to learn and grow in your role and inspire continuous improvements. To take responsibility for actions and projects feels like a matter of course for you.
The communication within the group and in many processes is in English, therefore you need to be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other language(s), such as Spanish or French is merited.
Supporting systems is mostly MS-Office package, primarily Excel, where you need to have strong skills.
