Group Treasury Manager

At Lindab Group, treasury is an important area with great opportunities to be involved in strategic business and on an exciting journey ahead. You will be part of continuing building the future capital and finance structure and develop long term strategic objectives and targets for Treasury.

The role is overall responsible for managing the financial and monetary aspects of the group, which includes for example cash flow, liquidity, funding, relationships with financial institutions etc. You will play a key role in the development of the treasury function in a listed company with a high rate of change, as the company has a strong acquisition strategy.

Further, some of the responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing the Group’s cash flows and liquidity.
  •  Secure the company’s liquidity to support financial targets of the Group.
  • Support the financial modelling for M&A activities.
  • Manage real estate leases for strategic important locations.
  • Secure new funds, maintain the current high level of predictive power of short-term cash forecasting.
  • Manage the Group´s overall cash position through consolidation into cash pool.
  • Responsible for increasing efficiency of intercompany payments by netting
  • Manage the Group`s Credit Insurance agreement.
  • Hedge activities in connection of Group internal financing/depositing
  •  Responsible for treasury related book keeping and involvement in monthly and quarterly reporting including also the annual report.
  • Strategic partner in connection with discussions regarding investments and liquidity
  • Etc.

The role reports to CFO. You are placed in Malmö or in Grevie but need to be in either office some days of the month.

The profile

We are looking for someone with strong corporate treasury experience, ideally gained working within a listed / large / complex organization, and a strong interest in improving future capital. To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

  • University degree in Economics or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years’ work experience from positions within treasury – bank and/or industrial
  • Experience of a Treasury function at group or business unit-level in an international company.
  • Good knowledge in IT systems/MS office especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of IBM Cognos and Dynamics AX is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

You have a passion for business and should have interest in being strategic advisor for the Business segments, supporting decisions relating to financial risk exposures, capital tied up, customer and supplier credit terms.

You have a strong and easy-going personality with initiative, commitment, natural engagement and drive. You have a strong analytical capability and good strategic thinking but are yet a doer. You get inspiration from working in a fast pace, changing environment and you have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
