About the Job

You will be a vital and contributing part of the Group function Group Strategy & Business Development, which has the responsibility to drive and develop:

·        Business intelligence

·        Group strategic agenda and priorities

·        Group-wide development initiatives

·        Mergers & acquisitions

You will be part of a small team, whose work is carried out in close cooperation with Trelleborg´s Executive Management and Business Areas.

As a Strategy Business Developer, you will form the link between our Executive Management, Board of Directors and internal as well as external stakeholders. You will be an integral part of generating the Group’s Strategic Plan and ensuring that priorities are turned into concrete actions. You will be a key player in managing and supporting selected group wide strategic initiatives, facilitate the implementation of different strategies and drive complex business development related projects.

You will be continuously involved in generating analytical decision-making material to Executive Management as well as to Trelleborg’s Board of Directors. In your role you will also face external stakeholders and be part of the communication towards external market, such as capital market.

Some travel (30-40 days/year) worldwide is required.

You report to Vice President Strategy & Business Development. The position is located at the Group Head Office in Trelleborg, Sweden.

About the Ideal Candidate

We believe, you have worked at least five years with Strategy and Business Development tasks, preferably within a Management Consulting firm or a large Industrial Group. You have strong project management, business development and change management skills. Experience within financial analysis, controlling and/or M&A is a merit. You have a relevant Master´s Degree or MBA, probably within Business Administration. You need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

We are looking for an experienced, analytical and communicative person. We expect that you are well experienced from analyzing information and building a compelling storyline. As we operate worldwide you are experienced in driving change initiatives in a global and cross-functional environment and are open-minded towards the cultural differences.

As an individual, you are flexible, and you are used to work and take own initiatives in a changing environment. You are ambitious and efficient, yet with a good sense for details. With a coach’s approach you support and develop your environment but act with courage and integrity when necessary.

Trelleborg AB – the parent company is located in Trelleborg (approx. 85 employees) where HQ and where Group management is located.

The office is located close to train station and trains run twice an hour. In the head office building, there are about 320 employees divided into slightly different operations.
