Nederman is on an exciting Clean Air journey and is now recruiting an Operations and Business Development Manager who wants to make an impact and contribute to further strengthening Nederman’s position as a global leader within air pollution control as well as for the air we breathe.

Operations/Supply Chain & Business Development Manager

Nederman wants to bring better value to its customers by putting extra focus on supply chain optimization. The focus for Operations/Supply Chain and Business Development Manager is to improve efficiency and productivity in processes related to product industrialization and supply chain. Projects can vary between areas such as global industrial footprint optimization, M&A integrations, logistics and warehouse set-up, production optimization etc.

The role is based in Helsingborg, but regular travelling globally is expected in the role. You will report to Vice President Operations and Product Development E&FT in Nederman.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role will be to manage and lead operational and supply chain development projects globally. You will primarily prepare, manage and lead various global Operations and Logistics projects but also be closely involved in our Supply Chain/Operations strategy and global footprint improvement work.

Amongst other, you will for example:

  • Preparing and executing Operations strategy and global footprint planning
  • Be a speaking partner when it comes to planning future strategies for supply chain footprint
  • Plan, Align and Execute Global Operations and footprint projects
  • Participate in M&A Integration projects and be responsible for optimizing areas within the supply chain/Operations.
  • Regional product localization themes and projects (Planning, logistics, Industrializations)
  • Global availability and Sales company forecasting processes
  • Confidently lead small to large projects including leading and facilitating project activities, prepare & present updates at steering group meetings in co-operation with divisional and group stakeholders
  • Together with the Operations units plan and execute larger CAPEX initiatives and production movement projects
  • Support in preparing and develop the annual operations strategic plan review on divisional level.
  • Design, Plan and implement an Operations and Logistics performance management system based on Group and Division strategy and alignment
  • Follow up Operations units’ performance according to set performance parameters and KPIs

We think you have work experience within Operations and/or supply chain area, preferable from an international manufacturing company or from a Management Consultant company.

Managing multiple projects and following through on deadlines comes naturally to you. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you shift tasks from one day to another. As a team player, you don’t hesitate to help your colleagues out to meet your common goals. In addition to this we see that you have:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Finance, or Business Administration or other relevant degree. MBA or equivalent is a merit
  • Comprehensive and strategic thinking and mindset with capability to work simultaneously at several conceptual levels from strategic to operational execution hands-on level
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline; comfortable performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing both internal and external resources
  • Fluent in English in both writing and speaking. Additional language proficiency is a merit.

It is a merit with previous experience from a strategy or management consulting firm or from an industrial role with experience from relevant responsibilities, e.g. Corporate Strategy, Business Development or Corporate Project Management developing and leading various projects or strategically important initiatives.
