For our customer we are looking for a Senior Finance consultant, for a role as Finance Manager Scandinavia. Our customer is large international group with a company in Scandinavia, with a turnover around 100 MSEK.
The assignment is around 6 month, with the possibility to start immediately. The assignment can also turn into an employment.
INTERIM FINACE MANAGER – SCANDINAVIA
The role is overall responsible for the Scandinavian business unit and lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department in Scandics and Estonia (total 3 persons).
Responsibility for:
- Be responsible for management of all financial reporting internal (to Group, Local Management Team, Internal Audit etc & external Auditors & Government)
- Manage the financial planning and analysis, forecasting and internal controls locally and under group guidance
- Ensure that financial reports are value-adding, accurate and timely to provide insights into business performance
- Manage annual budget process and build strong relationships with the various line managers
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, and financial best practice.
- Manage and nurture the finance team

- Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department in Scandics and Estonia (total 3 persons)
- Lead all Budget, Quarterly Review, Audit, Internal control processes & reporting to German holding group, SVP and the local Senior Leadership Team.
- Weekly review with VP Sales regarding key weekly metrics KPI’s monitoring spend vs actual vs budget vs forecast
- Payment Review: Approvals (TIS), Approvals (BACS)
- Credit Limits approvals
- Payroll Review approvals
- Targetik Reporting – FTE / Capex etc, QUC, MOR , B/S Reconciliations
- Group Reports – LOM, Group Reports – I/Co GM Reporting
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly Forecasting / EWC
- Expense Orders Release
- VAT/ HMRC, ONS reporting (Office Nat Stats )
- Audit (Prelim & Year End): Evidence/Reporting Liaison
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Implement financial strategies to drive business growth
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Provide financial insights to guide decision making
- Develop team members through coaching and mentoring
- Continuously improve financial systems and processes
- Sign off VAT return
