Sales Manager, Scandinavia

In nearly all industries, heat exchangers play a pivotal role for efficient process operation. Heat rejection and heat recovery are essential to increase the overall efficiency of cooling and heating systems. 

Environment is important and especially processing plants must remove impurities, unwanted hydrocarbons, and fluids to meet strict quality standards. Kelvion advanced heat exchanger solutions play a crucial role in supporting carbon capture technologies.

With decades of experience and a proven track record in delivering heat exchangers to both offshore and onshore facilities, we meet the industry’s most stringent requirements.

For this we are now looking for a Sales Manager, to continue to bring out the sustanable solutions to new and existing customers in Scandinavia – with extra focus on Power, Energy, Oil & Gas. The person will have a strong focus on the Green Technology applications (such as Carbon Capture and Hydrogen).

The role reports to Head of Vertical Market (Power, Energy, Oil & Gas), UK & Scandinavia. Your local office will be in Kalmar but where in Scandinavia the position is located is flexible but preferrable in south of Sweden. You can work from home office.

The position

The role will be the first point of contact with customers and will be instrumental in developing and expanding the customer pipeline. Reaching out to new customers and building relations with existing customers is focus for the role.

In this position the role will be offering a high grade of responsibility to provide customer access to the application engineering experts across the Kelvion organization. A proactive approach is essential to reach our demanding growth targets combined with professional business planning and reporting. 

Overall Responsibilities

  • Continue the work building good and close relationships with the key customers in the region
  • Focus on developing & growing the Green Technology business (both end user and EPC)
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy in Scandinavia, aimed at serving and expanding the customer base in the region.
  • Be the first point of contact for all topics with the existing and potential customers and drive the relevant communications.
  • Promote the Kelvion unique selling propositions (USPs) and increase awareness of Kelvion solutions in the region
  • Implement a highly selective approach by addressing the customers with a good potential for Kelvion
  • Follow up new leads and opportunities and show a local presence at the customers by frequent visits.
  • Monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.

The role will participate of regular meeting structure with UK & Scandinavia Sales Team and other internal functions like GSE (Global Solutions and Engineering).

Profile

To thrive in the role, we believe that you:

  • Have preferably a university degree, in either Process or Mechanical Engineering. If you do not have a university degree, we will look for equivalent experience.
  • Have several years’ experience from similar assignments in mechanical/ technical engineering environment, with a strong customer focus.
  • Are good at networking and establishing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Have a proven experience working in an international/global and matrix organization
  • Are team oriented and have a pioneering spirit and contributing to the building-up process of a sales organization.
  • Have a strong communication, presentation, and writing skillst.
  • Are self-motivated and self-directed regarding daily tasks.

To have an experience in the heat exchanger industry will be a plus. Fluent oral and written skills in a scandinavian language and English is needed.

Extensive travel will be needed in this role, both in and outside the region (around 50%).
