Interim Financial Controller (HR)

We are seeking an Interim Financial Controller with a focus on HR for a global client with 1500 employees across 20 countries.

This assignment begins on October 1st and will last for 6 to 12 months.

The candidate will lead the budgeting process for all 1500 employees and be hands-on with HR data, driving the development of our HR Key Performance Indicator (KPI) strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the budgeting process for global HR, ensuring accurate forecasts and allocations.
• Consolidate and present periodic HR financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual), as well as ad-hoc dashboards for board meetings.
• Collaborate with local HR and finance managers globally to ensure accurate and timely HR data and financial reporting.
• Analyze HR financial data across various business areas, offering insights and recommendations to optimize spending, workforce planning, and HR-related investments.
• Be an integral part of the HR team, reporting directly to the Chief People & Culture Officer.

Your Profile: We are looking for a Financial Controller with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. You should be client-focused, service-oriented, and an effective communicator, able to work well in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.

We expect you to have:

• Experience in financial controlling, especially related to HR or workforce budgeting.
• Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to manage complex data sets.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling, as well as data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Ability to present financial data and complex HR metrics in a clear and compelling way to senior management.
• Fluent English, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller in a multinational company with a matrix organizational structure.
• Experience working with global HR and finance teams.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
