Managing Director

Nederman Extraction and Filtration Technology (E&FT) Division are looking for a Managing Director for our Nordic Sales & Service company. Nederman is a leading global player in the area of industrial air filtration serving all kinds of manufacturing industries with clean air solutions and products.

Nederman Nordic covers the sales territory of Denmark, Sweden & Norway with a team of 80 people. The go to market strategy covers both turnkey solution sales to end customers as well as sales via distribution channels as well as service/aftermarket teams that takes care of customers after the initial installation of the products.

The Nordic sales company is with its >350MSEK Sales volume a major contributor to the results of the division and the group.

As Managing Director you are responsible for:

  • Full P&L responsibility for a >350 MSEK P&L.
  • Leading and motivating the Nordic Sales company management team and the organisation.
  • Creation and deployment of the Nordic Sales company business plan based on Nederman group and divisional strategy.

We are looking for a commercially driven Managing Director to lead the organic growth journey. To be successful in this role, we believe that you:

  • Have a relevant university degree and at least 10 years’ experience of multi-channel B2B sales and within companies with industrial products and solutions
  • Understand the complexity of product- and solution-based offerings as well as service sales.
  • Have experience of managing a P&L with full responsibility
  • Are a proven change leader, with the ability to motivate people and drive change
  • Have successfully created and deployed a proactive sales strategy in a B2B environment.
  • Possess strong business acumen and focus on results.
  • Are used to operate in matrix organizations and have a natural flair for inspiring and challenging your peers in an positive way.
  • Have data driven approach and use market insights when it comes to setting market strategy and finding sales opportunities.

As an individual we believe that you are a strong communicator with good analytical skills and a good sense of how to motivate people with different cultural and educational backgrounds. Furthermore, we believe that you are good at building teams and setting a common direction. You are a strategic thinker who is not afraid of engaging operationally when needed.
